CAPTURE THE BALLS

Slide your basket to catch every falling ball, dodge the anvils, and chase the swerving gold balls for bonus points. Grab the cyan powerup to widen your basket, and watch the skies shift from clear to stormy to starry night as your score climbs.

About Capture the Balls

Capture the Balls is a quick-reflex catching game. Balls fall from the sky and you slide a basket along the bottom of the screen to catch them. It sounds simple, but the sky gets busier the longer you last, and not everything that falls is something you want.

Regular green balls are worth one point, while gold balls are worth five but swerve on the way down, so you have to read their path rather than wait under them. Anvils also drop into the mix and cost you a life if you catch one. You have three lives, and missing a ball costs a life too, so you are constantly deciding between reaching for a catch and staying clear of danger.

The weather changes as your score climbs. Clear Skies is calm, Thunderstorm adds wind that pushes the falling objects sideways and makes the balls fall faster, and Deep Night turns the background into a dark starfield that makes it harder to spot what's coming.

How to play Capture the Balls

  1. Press Start Game and move the basket along the bottom of the screen.
  2. Catch green balls for +1 point and gold balls for +5 points.
  3. Avoid anvils. Catching one costs a life.
  4. Don't let balls hit the ground. Each ball you miss also costs a life.
  5. Catch the cyan W capsule to get a Wide Basket for a short time.
  6. The game ends when you run out of your three lives. Your best score is saved automatically.
